Mark will always be known for his expertise in the Antiques Field and his love for his Basset Hounds. He was a quick wit and was a gentle wonderful man. He was a 1969 Graduate of Batavia High School, attended GCC and was well known for his work at the Genesee Country Play House Theatre. He was in Retail most of his life and also worked in Banking for a few years. He ended his career in Retail by helping to run one of the most wonderful jobs he says he ever had at Ridge Road Station in Holley; the largest Christmas Store in W.N.Y. He loved that job and called himself the “ The Head Elf” there.
Mark and Richard traveled all over the world, but was always grounded at their home in the woods, which he couldn’t believe he owned, “Kentwood” as he called it.
Per Mark’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please donate to PAWS Animal Shelter of Albion, NY. Mark’s arrangements have been entrusted to Merrill Grinnell Funeral Home, 21 W. Avenue, Albion, NY
